Environmental Ethics Class Goes Hands-On

Sheila Lintott's Environmental Ethics Class had a chance to come out and put their theory into practice.

The day began with painting mullions and then painting the Hardi-Board soffets. This material is a cement product that replaces the wood usually used under the overhangs.  It has a tremendous life and paint can be used on it that is permanent.

Soffits and mullions were coated with primer.....as well as some windows in the basement.

The last thing we did was to set up scaffolding so the soffits could be installed later that week.

Our volunteers (and their dog) were proud of their contribution to this project.
