After a brief rundown on the day's activities, we were off to work.

First chore was to move a metal spiral staircase down to the basement....it is recycled "of course".

Sorting and staging lumber for the main floor supports was the next task.

Window frame wood had to be treated and prepared for installation.  Many hands really made fast work of this.

We removed the last of the basement forms, did a general clean up, and wrapped up fourteen window and door frames, all in an afternoon.  It was a very successful and satisfying day.   Everyone went home feeling new muscles.  Our thanks to Jasmine who has promised to come back and work twice as hard, if that is possible.  The work done by students during this day helped us tremendously in getting the main floor ready for completion.

Working together to make a difference in this world!
