Ashe Alternative School Plants for the Future
Ashe Alternative students arrived on a beautiful day to put a big dent in our Spring planting. Over 100 blueberry bushes were prepared and planted in just a few hours.
We began the day by preparing the terraces with a quick clean up of rocks and wood debris. Next, we marked and dug the earth from each plant location. The soil was then mixed with compost and the plants placed in the mix.
At the end of the day the whole crew
gathered and toured the model Eco-home.
