ASU ACT Volunteers Use Teamwork to Save the Environment

A wonderful group of students from Appalachian State University arrived at Mountain Mission Farms for ASU Earth Clean Up Day, part of ASU's Earth Day celebration.

Combining teamwork and muscle started the day in clearing the last of the timber in the blueberry patch.  The logs looked like centipedes with all the legs attached.

We started the day with a bucket brigade to move gravel to the house site.  Then brains took over and we came up with the idea of a shute.

Sweat and strain led to breaks and lunch on 'the rocks'.
