A Beautiful Day and a Wonderful Crew
National Youth Service Day brought an overflow crowd of students from ASU and Caldwell Community College.
We split into two groups....a brush clean up group and a painting crew. Our spring cleanup entailed cleaning up after a rough winter of downed trees and branches. The scaffolding we were loaned looked bad after being exposed to the weather. Our big effort that day was to sand and paint over 20 sections.
By the end of the day every one had painted on smiles and chocolate brown on pants, hands, shoes, and the scaffolding..
