One of the bests gifts our project could have received was the support of a premier manufacturer of woodworking cutting tools - The Oldham Company of West Jefferson, North Carolina. Oldham has been in the business of manufacturing saw blades and cutting accessories since 1857.
Oldham has provided us with all of the sawblades necessary to complete the interior framing and finish work. In addition, they have provided us with high quality metal cutting blades used in the construction of our metal storage building. Oldham router bits will be used for custom cabinetry, kitchen cabinets, and finish work on kitchen and bath counter tops.
The employees at Oldham are our neighbors. They have expressed their interest in our Eco-Village and model Eco-Home because we are making an effort to preserve the rich beauty and abundant resources in our local area.
